It's not too often that a summer storm comes through without being accompanied by lightning and thunder. Today after school we had just such a storm and the kids took advantage...
Jenster ~ Yeah. I played with aperture to get just the focus I wanted. NOT. Honestly, I barely even know that you could do that on purpose (I've taken fuzzies on accident though). The 'soft focus' that you see is a very simple Picasa edit. Picasa is my FAVORITE editing and organization software,(and I also keep Shutterfly on my laptop solely for collages). They are both free. Someday soon I will be taking a course or two, and THEN I will be able to school you on aperture use and all that jazz. Or maybe ~ I'll just keep on being an 'accidental tourist' and get lucky with beautiful pictures.

I heart your pictures SO MUCH! I can't wait to see you in October so you can school me in picture taking.
Great pictures!!
Beautiful, beautiful shots. I'll bet you could even make rain in January in Seattle look lovely.
What a beautiful post!
What wonderful pictures!!! Wow!
Question about the first picture. Did you play with the aperture or did you do the fuzzy thing in the editing?
