WIW - Saint Alphonsus Edition

Cousin Angie, Brother Ray, Me

Greetings all! I am rightnowthisminute blogging from the hospital. I left HisGirl at the hotel with a headache (poor dolly)(smooches A!) My brother is currently receiving his dialysis and resting quietly. How cool is it that they have Wifi?! I came to see him on the promise that he was going to take me to a movie and buy me anything I wanted at the theater! Well, the stinker decided that he wanted to hang out with his friends at the hospital. It's been a very long day for him and I am so thankful to see him resting. I am staying the night with him just to hang out. The time is so quickly approaching when I will have to get back on the planes and head home. Ray is such a sweet and tender soul and he is FUNNY too. Super funny when he is feeling well! Thank you for all your prayers on his behalf. I know that many of my family members think I am a kook and possibly even some of them think I am a 'religious nut', but I cannot care about that. I love my brother so much and I want him to know Jesus and be able to feel that peace that comes along with Grace and looking forward to a happy, healthy, wonderful eternity. So, even if it makes people scoff, possibly including my brother, I will ask you again, to please pray for him. That he will find the relief he seeks in Jesus. And that this time that we have together will be glorifying to God.

Very nice to see you again. Under the circumstances. Having a good time visiting with you. And you guys managed to take a pic with me in it where I don't look like a freak. That is a plus just so ya know! Hopefully I won't be so lazy with my camera on saturday.

Yay! Answered prayer! our Ever-Merciful/Longsuffering Father is giving Ray time to soften his heart, meet Jesus personally and accept Him as his Lord and Redeemer! The seeds you have planted WILL take root and grow. God's Word NEVER returns void! I am praying that you will get to see and/or hear evidence of his salvation while you are there. Perhaps Ray will only allow you to see his scoffing side now. But I guarantee that, in the quiet hours, when he is alone, he WILL be thinking over all you have presented to him and meditate on the Great Love (and wonderful humor) with which you presented it! I also feel strongly that when Jesus presents HIMSELF to Ray, that Ray WILL be prepared and ready and will say, "YES!". Before the foundations of the world, Jesus KNEW Ray would need YOU, Judi, as his sister! Which I am sure is part of why He set you in the same family! MUCH love to you and continued prayer for your brother, YourMoomis2

So glad you were able to spend some time with your brother! Stopping to say a prayer for him right now.

On another note - I saw that you will be in my neck of the woods again soon. Let me know about getting together! Email me.

Praying for a safe flight for you.
