Join Me In A Good Cry

My friends,
Whatever you are facing this day and in the days to come,
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

I have the tendency to worry so when it shows its ugly head I claim this verse. I am so thankful for the promises in God's word.

Said a prayer for your family as I watched the Mark Shultz video.

Why, oh why must every single song of his make me cry? Why?

That was absolutely beautiful and as much as it touched my soul I can only imagine how it touches yours.

You and your family are in my prayers.

I love that scripture and have dwelt on it so many times, especially in the past 2+ years. God is so good to give us His comfort even if it makes no sense. I just love that about Him!

I'm crying. I wouldn't expect anything less from Mark S. I like his music. Thanks for sharing.

According to the comments it's obvious your husband serves. Tell him THANK YOU! And a gig Thank you to you too. Blessings to you while you are apart.

What a beautiful song. That was the first time I heard it and it made me cry. I can only imagine how much closer it must hit for you. I am praying for you and your family.

Thank you for the scripture. It's a lesson I'm forever learning.

His voice is so amazing. I'll pray for you today as I think of it. Great video.

Sometimes, we just need a good, ugly cry. No worries there, mate. (((hugs)))

BTW, those verses in Philippians could be my life verses. Those and Matt 11:28-30. Take care.

His music always makes me cry! I bet he likes Hallmark movies! haha

I continue to pray for you all while you are separated from one another.

Amazing song. We saw him in concert last September, and he had the nerve to sing this in public. Didn't he know that my teens and I would be sobbing? And that it's not a pretty picture to get all splotchy and mascara-stained in public? Oh well. I'm so glad they've made a real video for this great message. We DO have hope in Christ. He talked about how he had been invited to sing this on the grounds of the Pentagon -- and that some of our nation's military leaders and other civilians broke out in spontaneous praise during his concert. Can you imagine? Pray they don't forget....
